Edward John Hunt has been diligently, thoughtfully, and aggressively defending the rights of the accused for the past 25 years in both state and federal court. Mr. Hunt is a former clinical assistant professor at University of Wisconsin Law School clinical program, legal defense project. Mr. Hunt has defended, over the years, citizens and non-citizens who have faced the awesome power of government in countless jury trials. He has repeatedly obtained acquittals for his clients at jury trials as well as winning reversals of wrongful convictions in both state and federal appellate courts. He has been a frequent lecturer on criminal law and criminal trial techniques throughout the state of wisconsin. His well-deserved reputation for outstanding legal ability and professional ethics has earned him the coveted AV rating from his peers. For the past two years, Edward John Hunt has been awarded the distinction of being named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer. Only 5 percent of the total lawyers in wisconsin are selected for this honor.
